A favicon is the little logo that you see next to the site in your browser. Now, having a different favicon to the typical blogger favicon will make your website look that little bit better and different. Here’s how to do it.
Before you change the template always back up your template and save it onto your computer.
First, you have to create your favicon. Luckily, I found a website that lets you make your own favicon in the right format and size:
So, once you’ve finished making your favicon, click at the bottom to create your favicon and copy the url for it.
After that you need to log into your blogger account, go to dashboard, then design, then edit HTML. Look for the code “</b:template-skin> “. If you can’t find it, use control and f to find it.
Paste this just after it:
<link href=’your favicon URL here’ rel=’shortcut icon’ type=’image/x-icon’/>
Change ‘your favicon URL here‘ to your favicon’s url and then save template and your done!
